Okay winters over, Thanks to Crayfish Bob, I finally got motivated and have started a hatchery/breeding room for blue yabbies, thanks Bob |

Home made bio filter and wet sump |

This setup is okay for the summer months, in winter i'll use it to hold extra stock. We don't get snow, in fact we rarely get frost.
On the left side where the grass is, is the site for my breeding/hatchery and new office. It's not gonna be all that big, 20 feet x 12 feet. We're pouring the cement slab this week, it will be purpose built with power, water, and selfdraining floor direct to the stormwater. |

Okay cement slab poured |

Another view, note the satellite dish so we can get the Wrestling and important news and stuff. |

It doesn't look much yet!!!!! |

I am going to put rearing tubs outside the front of the hatchery, so i need a fence to keep my dog Butch out of the water. She loves water, even on cold days.
Instant fence! seems to work, insert is Butch on the outside looking in, she's a bit of kelpie, bit of red heeler and bit of dingo! 'She truely is a very smart and loyal dog, I might have a Butch page one day.' |
