Here by three more pics of crayfish from Madagascar. It is not entirely clear which species these are, according to a reliabe source and friend, who kindly had a look at these photos, they may be Astacoides caldwelli or possibly a smooth carapaced form of A. betsileonensis but he stresses they are difficult to determine by photo. Both pictured specimens were collected in the same forest stream near Fianarantsoa, at least that is what my local collector tells me.
