Update 3 on the Hairy

Recent updates are that the Margaret River hairy marron is soon to be hopefully listed (IUCN catergories) as critically endangered by the WA Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM). If and when this occurs a recovery team will be made and a recovery plan produced.

 
I have attached an image of a comparrison between the two species of marron and a hybrid Centre for Eand the abstract from the paper that reclassifies marron. I have more photos if you are interested.
